Maidstone is  a bit of a rip off to be honest: £15 to get in and £4.20 a pint in their bar at our end.

Unbelievable that they are a) so mean b) so rude c) so lacking in business acumen . They must have lost far more in bar takings post match than it cost to provide a bit of grub for the  oppos. 

‘I’ve always thought that there should be reciprocal pricing in football . If you charge £15 to get in then your fans will be charged that for the return regardless of what the standard entry price is. You could do the same for the bar and food if you set up a members scheme. 

That said I would show our class in the return fixture and give their players a slap up meal to,show them how a proper club operates.

With regard to the above posts, and forgive me for butting in, but isn't there anything in the League rules about entertaining the opposing /visiting team ?

I too thought and would expect this to be in the rule book, but as they don’t and risking a fine I guess not. Would love to know their reasons because it can’t be down to cost. I’m thinking they’ve had some issues previously with either swat teams not staying back or not eating much of what’s offered?
