Francis' over the top challenge effectively killed off any chance we had of getting 3 points. He has already apologised on Twitter.

Yes but hopefully he will learn from it. These things happen, after all he is a young, fairly inexperienced player, we shouldn't forget.

A well earned and much needed point tonight. Performance was a lot better and both teams had a few chances to win it. Impressed with Dan’s performance, he provided the spark this evening. Shame about the red card but from where I was sitting it looked nasty but not malicious. Weymouth look a decent team and I’d expect them to be challenging for the play offs.

I said to the chap standing next to me that it was out of character for Francis. He (might have been you) replied with the same words, "looked nasty but not malicious". Great credit to Francis who wrote on Twitter after the match, "Apologies for letting the boys down tonight, happy they could hold on to the point. Mistake to learn from."

First half I thought we were marginally the better side.

We started a bit slowly and conceded the obligatory early soft goal but after that we took the game to Weymouth showing some real grit to get back into the game and equalize with the penalty.

Second half Weymouth started the better side and after the sending off they dominated proceedings and on the night a draw was a good result for us.

On the sending off, yes it was a strong challenge from Francis which was at least a yellow card unfortunately for him the unsporting (some say cheating) rolling over from the Weymouth 4 ensured the Ref produced a red.

Also didn't like the fact he shook hands with a fellow player when got to his feet and trotted off satisfied with what he had achieved.

Defence much improved but another game without a goal from open play Great to get our first point but we've  dropped down to 21st  as others also start to pick up points  Bath are the new leaders who we play next week Its been a tough August!

Being pedantic Adrian our goal at Concord was from open play.

Weymouth looked a decent side going forward and will be there of thereabouts for the play-offs.

He has also been going through a very tough time, with him and his partner losing a baby 3 weeks before pre season started at 25 weeks (where there was also concern for his wife) which has been devastating for him and wife, so maybe cut him a bit of slack, he is a very good lad, and he knows he is not sharp enough at present, but will work hard to try and get there.

That's why he looks short on confidence then, it's probably not confidence but having a lot on his mind, awful thing to happen, I'm amazed he's even playing to be honest which great credit to him. Football does not matter in instances like this!

Well said bakes, some people need to realise somethings are a bit more important than football.

Was there no managers interview after the game on anchor or will it be realised later today.

Well done Dan Robert's and the Rebels a very entertaining game Weymouth always a classy side to watch.

There was an interview with Unders filmed, so imagine it will be on YouTube later today when FCVideo have had a chance to edit it.

RR when you get to page where you see discover press on it then top of page press favorites then next page press on favorites and you will see page above just press on arrow to listen.

Now there are  some lads who do all this but cannot get the sound but I think you are a bit more tech savvy to find out any problems your son will know what to do.

More than a bit of slack duly cut as far as I'm concerned
