New (upgraded) Club Website

Not certain if it is just me but the new/upgraded club website does not impress. On a laptop it looks more like a site for the print handicapped and I miss having the latest result, up coming fixtures and Twitter feed on the front page. My eyesight is not what it was when I was younger but I do not understand why every entry has to be so large. Not a winner with me.

If my memory serves correct there were people saying that the old club website was hard to find latest info on,ie you had to search for it.

Looks like the club have tried to sort this by putting latest news on the front page.

Let's be honest though whatever they do someone will not be happy.

I like it big improvement ?

is it me but where is the link to the forum ?

There is no official link link to the forum which is why it has the name it does.

The official club Facebook and Twitter accounts have links on the ETFC website.None of the other clubs with unofficial forums here have links on their websites that I can find.

What other clubs list links to unofficial forums on their websites ?.

Lots of clubs link their fans forum.Maybe they are official forums?

Many of us probably remember the reasons behind the 'Not the...' title.

Fortunately that story (eventually) had a happier ending for those with a healthy dislike of Leyton FC (RIP) and it's former owner.

Safer to keep it as it is with some of the things that get put on here.

Just had a look at the website. Not perfect but better.Easier to navigate quickly and with the important things on front page.

What also impressed me was the club App that you can download and Taylor the news/teams you want to follow,it involves registering.Early days but seems a big improvement.

  • 1 month later...

We seem to have the U23's , Ladies team and  Ladies U14's  fixtures all mixed together with the first team fixtures on the website.Making browsing our fixtures not as easy as when the new website was originally produced..Especially i can imagine for  casual/away team fans.

Are all these home fixtures to be played at the QE? The Ladies U14 game has a kick off of 9.30am,so i presume that is not at the stadium??

Maybe fair enough if the U23 fixtures are added to the first team fixtures. But too random and confusing to lump the fixtures of every age group and section in with the first teams.

It is the website of Enfield Town Football Club and not just the first team. It just needs tweaking a bit snd can only be as good as the information provided.

Ps I'm not a fan of pitcheroo websites.
