Truro away

Recommended Posts

Considering our circumstances over the last few months it has been a truly fantastic effort from the players.

To go 10 games unbeaten and end up only 3 points shy of the play-offs speaks volumes for the quality we've got at this club.

Going by whats been said the players we want to keep for next season have already committed to us and with the addition of some quality players this can only bode well for another fantastic season to look forward to.

7 hours ago, Curtis said:

63 mins St Albans 0 Torquay 3 (St Albans hopes probably over now)

At this stage, a Hemel Hempstead equaliser at Wealdstone and 2 goals for Slough, and Slough would be in the play off place.

It must be very difficult for the Slough players trying to play football whilst running around the Treyew Road pitch looking at their ipads.

I was at Millwall 0 Stoke City 0.

Steve Morison looked as though if he wants to be playing first team football next season, it will be at a few levels below The Championship.

A very good man to have around your club with a wealth of experience.

What an enjoyable day yesterday.( And a long one ).Left home at 06.30, got back home at midnight. Whether we had won, lost or drawn against Truro it still would have been a fantastic season.

If you had said to me at the start of the season that we would have

1, got to the 2nd Round of the FA Cup again

2, been minutes away from the end of the last league game of the season just needing Hemel to score a goal to get us into the play offs

and 3, have a possible Cup Final to play in ( ???????????????)

I would not have believed you. It's been brilliant following The Rebels this season. And what a great gesture by Neil and Jon yesterday,

buying all the Slough supporters a drink after the game. Thank you.

Steve E, the whole management team and all the players who have worn the Slough Town shirt this season have done the club proud.

It feels so good to be a Slough Town fan.

Can't wait for next season !

Have to say feel shattered today after a long superb away day to Truro but you can not beat travelling up and down the country supporting this great club and team who give there all week in week out.

They have given us all the supporters another season of enjoyment and it would be so fitting for them to win the B@B Cup Final if it happens.

On the game the wind did not help both sides but give Truro credit they played and used it very well in the 1st half they must of been down when lenchy got us back in with goal late in half.chances were missed by both sides Jack once again made some terrific saves.Wazza what a class player comes on gets us in front with Francis getting the 3rd looked like three points were in the bag but not to be. Francis and Dan played well and both must be looking forward to next season.

Thanks bakes@unders enjoyed  the free pint and everthing you give and do for the club.
