Oxford City away

We'll look into it, but there would have to be enough people for it to be worthwhile.

The only problem that I can see is that It says on the Trust site that the coach is now full and any one thinking about going by coach will now not bother.

Perhaps the wording should say about the possibility of another coach if there is a demand.

As I said, we need to look into it first (as in talk to apple about it) so at this point we don't have the option. Once the option is there the wording will be changed and it'll be promoted on social media.

Thanks for spending the time to explain things properly.

Would be great to see another large and noisy Rebels contingent for what has all of a sudden become quite a big game! ?

I have treated my court jester's hat with beef gelatin and it is now in really good shape again although the blue and amber are toned down. I have tuned my vuvuzela and there is nothing on the Oxford City website to suggest that they might take it off me at the turnstiles like Woking did.

There will be noise from Rebels on The Road like you've never heard before as the sparse but erudite home support will be able to do little if anything to suppress it.

I am booked on the second coach. The only occasion that I have been on a supporters coach before was to Anfield on Tuesday 20th. April 1976 for the first leg of the
English Schools Football Association Trophy Final.

That tells you just how massive Saturday's match is!!!

They play in blue and white so that rules out our away kit. Have we managed enough bookings for a second coach as I guess a decision needs to be made today? Be great to have 200+ very loud support on Saturday, looks like they have cover on 3 sides. Well probably at least match the home support in number.

It's always on the Trust's website - http://www.sloughtownsupporterstrust.co.uk/away-travel/

But still no confirmation that the second coach is running. I am booked on it.

We have booked a 19 seater coach to go with the 60 seater. There's 12 spaces so please get in touch to book a space.

Sorry Dan. I somehow missed reading this post.

Our season now rolls on to Oxford City, a club currently in good form (but so were Welling coming in to the match with us last week).

Their home record is very interesting, although they have won their last two, before those they had lost six consecutive home matches. They also very rarely draw home matches, only 2 out of 19, and one of those was the opening match of the season. A pure coincidence, or tactical approach in home matches?

Our recent form is excellent, only bettered by the Champions, Torquay, but this is going to be a tough one, and probably a rollercoaster of a day. Just 3 points off the play-off spots with 3 to play, some might think a draw would keep our hopes alive, but realistically it is so congested I think it is only a win that would give us any chance.

Forecast: Oxford City 2 Slough Town 3
