Player of the season

I believe that ambition and the desire to improve should always be a main aim Anyone prepared to accept mid table stagnation will most assuredly get it As a number of members have said  we will finish not a long way from the playoffs and this as the result of a season that's been uneven and unbalanced  If we hadn't had that remarkably poor spell in Jan/Feb we  would be playoff standard  Frankly I would be happy next season  to do as well as we have this season  so long as the intention and aspiration is to do as well as possible

But we are not that far off the play-offs this season and hopefully (no guarantees of course) we can improve next season with this seasons experience behind us.

Perhaps your glass is half full and mine is half empty?

To be honest, I think we are some way off to be ready to go up and stay up but of course, I like your optimism.

Being only 2 wins and a draw away from the play-offs we would most certainly be in the mix.

With Aldershot, Maidstone & Havant coming down, & Weymouth coming up, we will be moving down in the attendance league table.... from our current position of 7th/8th to around 10th.

Attendances have a big influence on club funding, and it’s difficult to buck the trend of better funds affording better squads.

So, I think next season will be tougher than this season, and until we manage to attract average attendances of 1,000+, we will find it very difficult to make the play-offs.
