Matt
I noticed this morning that it’s 10 years since Steve Bateman took charge of his first match as Slough manager, a 3-2 home defeat against Cinderford in front of 176. For me, that marked the start of the upturn in fortunes for our club - started by Steve and then accelerated by Bakes and Unders and the move back to Slough. The common denominator of course is Steve Easterbrook, and in this age of chopping and changing managers, it’s great to see that we’ve only had two management teams in the last decade, and the stability that comes with it.
