GlenSTFC
From what I’ve read this sounds like an exciting signing and Billy has great pedigree. As he’s on loan for the remainder of this season I guess there may be a chance to sign him if he impresses. Look forward to seeing what he can do, well done Rebels ? Reading Rebel
Certainly got the pedigree and according to his stats low mileage with only 72 league appearances in 8 years.
Cornish Rebel
72 appearances in 8 years ?Why would that be ?

Bit premature Glennie but if it ever came to that one big problem would be what he's being paid at Billericay.
3spirit
Having just read his Wikipedia page, sounds like he has a broad range of experience from being at different clubs but strangely he hasn't played that many games. Most that's written down about him, seems positive for Slough but we shall have to see how it all pans out for him and us. Certainly on paper it looks a very good signing, and with the added bonus that he is from our area, which should give him an affinity to the club. GlenSTFC
Well he’s obviously not wanted at Billericay so what he earns there isn’t relevant as he won’t be getting that next season! It’s up to him to impress to earn a deal with us (or another club) in the 3 months he’s here. Yes he’s not played much over the years but now playing for his home town I hope that may give him extra impetus and benefit us.

His first four years with a professional contract were at Chelsea during which period he is shown as playing just 22 matches whilst on loan to Colchester United and Royal Antwerp. Presumably he played many more matches for Chelsea teams which were not Senior matches. Between 9th. January and 15th. July 2015 he was without a club. When he has been at clubs he has not always been a first choice in the starting line up and so his matches per season at those clubs tended to average about twenty. He's only 26 so still time to learn how to score those much needed Rebels goals. He is shown as only scoring three in his Senior football career. But he might strengthen the back enabling Rebels to concede less goals and hold onto leads.
GlenSTFC
I was initially thinking he was more of a creative goal scoring midfielder but delving into his history more yeah he might be more of a defensive midfielder?

But he's only on loan so I'd say either Billericay still want him for next season/keeping their options open or he's on a contract and they will want a fee for him. GlenSTFC
I certainly don’t see it that way... Billericay are going for promotion and need a big squad to cope so letting him join us for the rest of the doesn’t scream wanted to me! He may well be on contract but I bet it expires at the end of this season.

GlenSTFC
They really need to change the rules on county cups. You shouldn’t be cup tied for these low priority competitions where you’re playing in what is in effect different cup competitions.
