What a tinpot cup competition the B+B really is. Worst service of officials i have seen for a long time, and I would go so far as to say blantly cheating in favour of Marlow. The Marlow management team and bench shoud be embarrassed by the way they conducted themselves when Mealing jumped up in the air and grabbed his ankle after not being touched.

I would say it's time, given the standard of referee, the stupid rules and general aggro that these fixtures cause to either pay the "fine" as a club and not enter or do what we did at H+Y last year. Complete waste of time.

We really shouldn't be surprised when an horrendous cock-up from a B&B Lino has ultimately decided the outcome of a game.

Having said that, over the course of the 90+ minutes some really poor finishing from us has cost us the game.

The refereeing should not have been an issue.... we should have put away several of the numerous goal scoring opportunities we had but squandered them hitting both posts the cross bar, and missing the target frequently.

I don't think they cheat, they are just incompetent.

Wasn't in line with the goal so can't say if he was on or offside, otherwise barring a couple of free kicks not given, didn't think the ref was that bad and not a reason we didn't score. A decent first half with lots of chances for us and thought it was just a matter of time but second half, I'll be honest, I thought the team was a mess. After the goal we stopped playing football and starting playing with little composure, plan or shape. Of course, not easy with a number of attacking players cup tied so don't want to be too harsh or disappointed. Should have kept more faith in what we were doing well, in my opinion.

I might be wrong but did the Ref get confused as to whether a player should leave the field after being fouled and having had treatment or doesn't the new rule apply to the B&B cup?

Firstly the rule is now that if a player gets booked and the player is down getting treatment and doesn’t get up before the yellow card is issued they now have to leave the field... another new rule that has caught us out this season, so the ref was right.

Secondly we should have been out of sight, however combination of poor finishing and excellent keeping/defending kept us out.

Thirdly the goal was two yards offside, FACT, not even close, and has been caught on camera.

Fourthly what went on at the end and some of the things that were said by one player in particular has no place in football, and should be punished, however I very much doubt it will.

Finally we move on to Saturday, we will come out stronger from tonight’s antics... the togetherness of the players was excellent.

I totally disagree with your derogatory and disrespectful comments as I am sure the Slough Town management do, considering their comments in the build up to this match.

I don't know what was said but we were very close to the dressing room doors at the end and, whilst we didn't hear what was said, could clearly see that Jon and yourself were focused on ensuring Slough players and others didn't get involved. I commend you both for it.

The player concerned had been out of control ever since being sent off as a substitute.

I hope we don't decide not to play this competition in future as it has a fine history and is a competition we should look to be competitive in everyour year.

Your analysis as ever is correct, we should still have won easily even with the offside goal.

Really cracks me up when the management of marlow are complaining about being called out for having no class..... lol you don’t. Aggressive behaviour and staff just tapping ball into the pitch is classless. If they don’t like the title change how you act don’t blame others. We had plenty of shots but their gk was fantastic and that’s all. Funny thing is if we had been given the offside goal could you imagine their uproar but because it’s us we are just “sore losers”

Not one post on here has said we are sore losers we had the chances to win and did not take them and the officials made a mistake for there goal which all supporters would agree with.

SG - 100% stand by my comments from last night. The B+B FA should be ashamed of the whole competition start to finish. What type of tinpot cup doesn't allow players that have played in other county cup competitions to play in yours? What type of organisation has that stand of officials residing over a cup semi final? Not sure if there was any BB FA officials in the ground last night but seeing everything that went on, they should be ashamed and embarrassed today.

Marlow FC are a classic example of small club mentality - along with massive chips on their shoulders too.

Their manager has long been a disgrace to his 'profession'.

Might just pop along to their cup final and stand by their dugout and give them some grief!
