I guess there’s no rule in say Reading can’t play their strongest 1st team if they wanted to not that they would or would need to. Yes Marlow are doing better than I expected although I doubt they’ll catch H&Y but should make the PO’s.

Ourselves or Marlow will play Reading in the final after they beat Maidenhead United on penalities 4-3 after a 1-1 draw. Final venue still to be confirmed but Maidenhead would be the logical choice as location wise it’s ideal but also the right size.

Last years final between Chesham and MK Dons was held at the MK Dons stadium so if we reach the final I see no reason why it can't be at Arbour Park?

It’s a shame that Maidenhead ballsed it up last night. A (potential) final against them would be a big game for the local area and sure to draw a decent crowd. Not sure we could say the same about Reading’s under 23 side.

I think if we got through then the potential is there to draw a 1,000 crowd, depends on how bothered the Reading fans rate it? Depending where it’s held, I think we could take certainly 500 to Maidenhead.

There's no figure given in the match report so unless it's in the local rag I doubt if you'll find out.

I would say there was about 7-900 there, difficult to know as don’t know the ground as well.

A few Reading fans on their forum have stated that they intend to attend the final, I think you could be surprised how many are at the game.

Berks and Bucks Twitter has indicated the senior final will be played at Arbour Park in a list of all their county finals. There is a caveat that times, dates and venues are subject to change but would expect the final to be played there.

Despite the difference in status  we mustn't be complacent at all tonight The Alfred Davis has been a bit of a fortress this season  3rd placed Marlow have conceded just 8 league goals in 16 games The next lowest is the 17 conceded by 2nd placed Bracknell

Of course Marlow may have an eye on next Saturday  They are 3rd Bracknell 2nd both have 62 points and Marlow are home to Bracknell on Saturday
