What an amusing read having not been on this site for about six years. Stopped looking and posting because of some comments.

Interesting that at one time an appeal against an offside goal had to be made in writing after the match finished!

Having been down in depths and unsure of Slough Town's future for several dark years, and after surviving a relegation scare, two promotions returned us to the National league South and be able to win the B&B is a fantastic achievement.

This is more the case given the limited number of players who could have played. Players had to play for the club in at least one league game before the 1st March.

A fitting end to a great season.

Well done everyone associated with the club and helping this to happen!

Second round fixtures of this years competition released today, Slough, Reading, MK Dons & Wycombe all have byes.  Notable tie was Maidenhead Utd v Binfield.

I wonder how a team gets a bye?

It seems mightily strange that apart from Maidenhead all the 'big teams' have got byes.

The three EFL clubs plus current holders have got the byes this season. 

Or to put it another way, all the big clubs. ?
