Reading Rebel
Maidenhead Advertiser reporting that a forward from a pro club will be signing for us on a 28 day loan deal and is 'highly rated'. Also, a local striker will be signing forms but will remain dual registered with his current club.

Reeeebbbbeeeelllllls
Looks like two good additions to me ?? Looking forward to seeing that Tommy Wood in action, seems to be a big strong target man, gives us an added edge if you ask me
3spirit
Looking forward to seeing both new signings in action. Like the fact that Tommy Wood sounds like he can head a ball well and Dan Roberts has pace to burn. That should be good for the team. The signings appear pragmatic and sensible but a tad under-whelming but I think it's the right call. Gives our squad some competition without breaking the bank to do it.After all, it's not like our team is fighting relegation to get results or challenging the top sides for the title. GlenSTFC
The signings are of the ‘calibre’ I expected. We have to be realistic as we’re not going to sign 2 superstars. Pre-season not mid-season is when you’ll have a bigger pool of quality to choose from as players contracts finish. We have signed 2 young players who I’m hoping are both hungry and eager to impress and I’m confident we’ll see those attributes as a minimum tomorrow (if they play!). Plus there is no pressure to do anything more than finish mid table this season and with the cup run and a potential county cup final you could even say we’ve over achieved.
