V Gloucester City H 2nd Feb

If I could have picked one of our remaining games to follow the disappointment of our last two games it would probably have been this one  Gloucester currently 20th have struggled all season and have managed just 18 goals from 28 league games  the leagues lowest total and just 7 from 14 away fixtures We need a boost after a poor January and I think this game will provide it

Personally I'd rather be playing a team near the top or mid table than one that's scrapping for it's life at the bottom end of the table.

No easy games in this division as both Bath and Oxford City found out. 

Gloucester don't score many but they also don't concede many.

Yes they are scrapping. What else can they do? But with little success  They have conceded more than twice the number they've scored so IMO not especially good

Since UEFA qualified coach Mike Cook was appointed manager on 8th. January, Gloucester City have played three league matches without conceding. 0-0 at home to Hungerford Town and Bath City and 0-1 at Oxford City.

Yes its true they won their last away game against Oxford but Oxford have lost their last 4 league games after some fairly good results so maybe not so surprising !

5 points from last 3 games is not a bad return for a team near the bottom and on that basis you could argue that Gloucester are the in form team.

After a month away looking forward to watching a game and see the Slough get back into a winning mode.

Gloucester city have announced the recall of midfielder loanee Odin Bailey  by Birmingham City  He joined them in November and played  a dozen games and scored twice

Let's not go counting our chickens, you couldn't get any lower in the league than WSM last week. Fingers crossed for a win and getting back on track.

I think we should all know this league by now.

Regardless of who you are playing and the stats surrounding the game, if you don't perform you are very likely to get turned over.

Shouldn't have thought there would be too many issues getting the game on at our end. The main roads in Slough were in good order this morning and temperatures are not expected to freeze overnight

Didn’t this snow issue crop up last year.... if I recall it’s not just about the pitch being playable, but also the stands and surrounding areas not being potentially hazardous for fans.

Game off now. I guess the pitch would have been playable but to clear all the terraces, car park and walkways would have been a big ask especially if more snow is forecast later/overnight.

Snow isn't forecast and temperatures not set to freeze. But as a council facility I'm not surprised at erring on the side of caution.
