Fair enough Neil, still think Floody and Ben H are more than capable but Stevens quality would have been an added bonus, keep up the good work! Great first season at this level so far ??

Completely agree Craig. Both are great centre forwards and I’m convinced one or both will go on a goal scoring run soon. Just need a bit of luck to get going and everyone behind them. They’re good enough to push us towards the playoffs and Matt Lench will really add something in midfield and provide chances.

That really was an outstanding performance I knew there was something I meant to put in the OP not only are Chelmsford 3rd highest scorers on 43 but 23 have been scored away from home  To have taken two wins and conceded no goals is brilliant IMO.

Yes just as there are NIL -NILS and nil-nils so they are very different types of 1-0 . That was a HUGE result. Again we have to remind ourselves we are only just over half a season in to a massive jump in standard in this league. We are not going to thump anyone at this level and every performance has to be of a ‘professional ‘ standard. No free rides , no village teams jumping up a division, to be sent back no ‘youth’ sides . Every game is a challenge against top,class opponents .  Draws against these teams are good results! You have to take your chance when it comes and shut the others out. 3 Pts of the play-offs ? We are having a right larfff! Off to Hungerford for 90 minutes singing in THE cup .

Having watched the highlights, pretty certain that has to be an own goal (as it seemed on the day) as Dunn’s shot was pushed into his own net by the keeper.

From the camera angle on the video it's difficult to see if the keeper got a touch.

I think you'd have to be behind the goal or directly in front to see if the keeper palms it into his own net.

Keeper deflected it in as I was right behind goal. Looked like Dunn's shot would hit post without that touch.

I was standing behind the path of the shot and can confirm it was going a foot or so wide before keeper’s kind intervention helped it into the net. This is not the Premier League though so no dubious goals panel and credit goes to Dunny!
