GlenSTFC
Wealdstone have just confirmed Matt has left them to rejoin us. Doesn’t state whether he left or was released. I suppose it is a surprise signing considering the circumstances that he left the club but many fans were disappointed when he left so should prove to be a popular signing and let’s hope he regains those highs of his time with us previously. Irishadrian
There's an official statement on the Slough website now confirming he has rejoined If he can recapture his best form he will be a huge asset in the second half of the season. Welcome back Matt!

Stan
Well well well. Some nice symmetry in that Dobbo had to leave to do a bit of growing up and show he had matured in his second spell . Hopefully Matt can see the lesson there and realise that however much talent you have it needs to be managed in the right way; welcome back Lenchy . Guest Wycombe Rebel
I'm not surprised that Lench has rejoined, does this mean that he has dropped his demands of playing regularly in central midfield?!?! In my opinion, in this league, to play centrally we'd have to go with 3 in central midfield to incorporate a player like Lench.

I think we can guess but I'm not sure any of us know all the reasons why Lenchy left.
3spirit
I'm chuffed to see Matt back in a Slough shirt. Didn't think that would happen, so well done our managers and Matt himself, for being big enough to compromise. If we can get him injury free, we have an extremely useful player for our squad, as he can play anywhere across the midfield and is not adverse at getting forward and scoring goals.I also think Dobbo's leaving, presents a big opportunity for Louis Soares to step up to the plate,as he could also do a job on the left wing. I do, however ,think we need another forward asap, as it doesn't look that Dejon Noel Williams is going to be that man for us and his loan must soon be up. Two incoming players for Dobbo makes sense to me, as it widens our choices and covers the big influence Dobbo was for us. We could then can adapt our tactics, so that we are not so dependant on wingers.
Alan Greenaway
Another advantage with Lenchy rejoining is that he is a natural replacement for Dobbo's corners and free kicks
Shredding Green
Welcome back Matt. Have a great afternoon's football! I always liked your easy to speak with nature and your rapport with the fans. But getting two yellows away to both the top two teams did earn a serious black mark. All in the past now and we can look forward to the future here at Slough again. Sorry that I won't be at Arbour Park for your return but I am at The Den for Millwall v Blackburn Rovers. But don't miss a second ... it's LIVE on SKY at 5.30 pm. And I recommend a day at the seaside and a good bar on 26th. January. Weston Super Mare v Slough Town followed by Millwall v Everton LIVE on BBC1 at 5.30 pm!

God forbid, what's happening to the average Slough supporter ! ha ha ha! Forget the den, there's only 'Parklife'.

Scarborough Rebel
Lenchy was the best player on the pitch from both teams v Wealdstone on Boxing Day. Genuinely excited to see him back in a Slough shirt. Well done B+U!
