Mid Season Review

At the beginning of the season I stated that making the play-offs was not something I expected we would be able to achieve in our first season at this level, but it would be a dream come true if it happened.

I also mentioned that I thought to make the play-offs generally required 70 points, scoring 70 goals and conceding 45 or less.

And here we are at the end of the year and mid-point of the season on 34 points, having scored 29 goals & conceded 20..... having had a wonderful cup run to the 2nd round of the FA Cup, which may have been distraction for some league matches.

What a fantastic position for us to be in, what a great time to be a Slough fan.

So, all to play for in this second half of the season, and with a couple of good results and catching up on a game or two in hand, we really could see ourselves sitting in a play-off spot.

I’m hoping we get a big crowd tomorrow getting behind the lads and encouraging them to achieve the results to make this a dream season for all involved with the Club.
