Irishadrian
Good luck to the lads for this one and I do expect us to get something from it Although we've had a bit of a wobble recently I think some have forgotten just how well we've done overall since August Currently we have 1 game in hand on 3 of the clubs currently in playoff positions and 2 games in hand on another 3 and we are just 5 points of the playoff group Wealdstone themselves are in a similar position to us 2nd at one stage and a series of poor results have seen them tumble down the league We'll have to play much better than against ETU but that's been the pattern this season the better the opposition the more we raise our game! StoneyGround
Parking be careful, do not block drives or park with wheels on pavements. The traffic vultures will ticket you. With the main car park only available to Players,Officials,Match Sponsors and Club Staff additional parking will be available at Ruislip Rugby Club in West End Rd which is a short walk from the ground. see you Boxing Day Merry Xmas
Shredding Green
May I draw your attention to Grosvenor Vale Ground Regulation 7 :- "The following articles must not be brought within the ground (includes) musical instruments of any kind and air horns". I myself do not go to grounds which have regulations that stifle the good atmosphere created by good supporters. You will be very welcome to make the point in your singing tomorrow. I did email the Wealdstone Chairman Peter Marsden last season regarding this regulation but did not receive a reply.
Irishadrian
Shredding Green We will miss you at Arbour Park ! coincidentally its our ground regulation 7 which has a similar list of banned items Although its really a case of using common sense and not the strict letter of rules and regs I hope everyone is having a great Xmas

Irishadrian
Banny I'm sure SBC had some input but the last sentence of section7 says " The decision on what items are subject to this policy resides with the club"

January. The Slough Town FC regulation 7 includes air horns but not musical instruments in the list of banned items, although there seemed to be several air horns against Gillingham. Perhaps Wealdstone don't enforce regulation 7 to the full if no offence is caused to anybody but I object to reading musical instruments in the list in the first place. StoneyGround
This is enforced, our ground is surrounded by houses and it is intended to minimise the noise impact on our neighbours. You will also find there are far more people that do not like the constant bashing of a drum or other poorly played instrument, during sporting events. Curtis
You better warn the neighbours that the Slough fans like a sing song!!!
Curtis
The form guide forecasts we will draw our next three matches..... personally I’m hoping for a minimum of five points so we don’t lose any ground on the clubs chasing the play-off places. And I would love to see James Dobson put in three big match winning performances and secure his dream of a January transfer to at the very least a League Two club. GlenSTFC
It seems inevitable that Dobbo will leave but I doubt any interested club would pay us a fee in January if they can sign him for free in the summer. But yes if there are interested clubs then it’s obviously beneficial to all parties that he puts in 10/10 performances until that call comes. Glen That is where the agents try to earn their fees They will try to convince an interested party that there's at least one other just gagging to sign him and they must act now to secure him. Irishadrian
Excellent result Our last two results have returned us to second best defence in the league and with either one or two games in hand we are now just 3 points away from the playoffs Wealdstone will not be relishing their visit to Arbour Park I'm sure! On to Dulwich.

The game at AP will be a totally different game.
Reading Rebel
Excellent performances all round today. Thoroughly deserved win and must go down as one of our best away performances of the season. Cannot pick a MOTM because for me every player was at least an 8/10. COYR!!!!!!! sdelaney
That was a Superb squad performance today. They always say defending starts from the forward line with Ben and Floody who i thought had his best game for a long time better than Saturdays worked there socks off harassing the Wealdstone backline but all over the pitch we did not let there players settle on the ball. The two good chances they did have no way was Jack going to let the player beat him. Getting the early goal helped another well taken pen from Ben and two well taken goals from Nis and Guy. Bobby Wilkingson has had so many good results against us so good to get one back. Keep it up lads away now back in Feb so will be listening to Ade.s dulcet tones all of January. Been a fabulous 2018 wishing bakes@unders the squad more of the same for the rest of the season. Happy 2019 to everyone involved with this great club to all the supporters superb once again today non stop singing who needs banging drums and horns. RR well we will know soon enough won't we ? I'm sure you're correct and they'd love to get revenge but its not likely their injured players will be back and they'll need talent and ability not just a will to win and they didn't show much today! Curtis
I couldn’t make it to the match today so not able to pass comment on the tactics or the performance, but what a tremendous result, I really didn’t expect that.
