Surprised no one has mentioned the return of Mark Scott for a one off match.

it will be great to see him in Slough colours after what happened.

I went to Larges Lane yesterday for Bracknell Town v Hayes & Yeading United. Mark was given plenty of goalkeeping practice in the 3-3 draw including a penalty in the very first minute of the match.

What a magnificent performance that was. Couldn't see the gulf in league positions on the pitch. We were comfortably the better side first half.

Got hit by the sucker punch of wonder goal early second half but regrouped and created a number of good chances/half chances.

Thought we more than deserved a draw.

Proud of the boys to get so far and for the efforts of everyone today but gutted to miss out on third round

Agree Martin, just seen the goal on BBC and no keeper would stop that.

Otherwise we bossed the game and should have been in the draw, but the luck did not go our way.

I would say both Sutton and Shoaling were better than Gillingham, and no way did they look 67 places higher.

As for their so called fans - did they make any noise? - The worst away support we have seen for a long time.

All credit to the boys today they dared to dream and it nearly came off.  There was no standing off like we have done to bigger teams - it was straight at them and at them for all 90 mins.

Although disappointed to be out of the FA Cup we did the club and town proud!

Thought we were unlucky today to lose - Gillingham looked rather ordinary and will probably consider themselves fortunate to have won today. Apart from the goal they scored I thought they created very little and what they did create came mainly when we were chasing the game in the second half.

Slough can be proud of their achievements today and with a little more luck vould have found thdmselves in the draw for the 3rd round tomorrow.

Good luck to Gillingham in the next round though.

Proud to be a Slough fan this morning. After all those years of struggle at Windsor and then Beaconsfield we are back where we should be, mainly due to Steve Easterbrook and Bakes/Unders on

the playing side. I am sure our older fans will remember that we used to get to the FA Cup First Round / Second Round most years, long may it continue from now on!

I went into the match expecting to lose, but by the end of the match was gutted with the result. Every player in a Slough shirt outplayed their opposite number and fully deserved to be in the draw for the third round.

A huge improvement from last year but unfortunately we just couldn't get that all important goal, though it certainly wasn't for a lack of trying.

For me Lee Togwell and Scott Davies were simply outstanding, they never let the Gillingham midfield into the match.

A record crowd at Arbour Park and what should have been a record first appearance in the fa cup 3rd round. It's extraordinary how far the club has come in the last 10 years.

Brilliant  display by the team so unlucky deserved so much more from the game. Really hope that the managers and team realise the enjoyment you are giving all the Slough Supprters and how proud we are of you all not just in this game but what you have achieved over the last five years may it continue.

Great to see the highlights on BBC and the time and assessment given to our game.
