Agree with everything that has been said so far, they started the better team for the first 20 minutes and i was thinking we were going to get a pasting, however Lee Togwell was everywhere! Putting his head and legs in to every challenge.  I thought the substitutions were spot on and all 3 that came on played their part.  I was shocked to see in the 2nd half how much quicker we were to every ball and Sutton`s energy levels were almost running on empty.

I don`t want to focus on negative things on such a great night for everyone but was disgusted to see two kids stood at the front spitting at their Goalkeeper everytime he took a goal kick, one of them in particular kept on doing it and my mate I was with did bring it to a stewards attention, after 28 years of supporting Slough I don`t want to be associated with something as disgusting.

Great to have the younger element come to games because they are the future but as always the odd few will often spoil it.

As always you've got to wonder where the parents/guardians are when this sort of thing happens.

I’m sure that’ll be the plan and as you say it should provide a decent boost to an attendance that probably would have been around the 500 mark. Let’s hope us Season Ticket holders get first dabs on tickets as it will sell out. Given Gillingam average 5,500 and it’s relatively near they could sell 1,500-2,000 alone.

This is the problem... the parents don’t know or care where they are which is why these scumbags behave like they do!

Not speaking on behalf of the club here, but I wouldn’t hold out hope on tickets being available Saturday. We only found out our opponents at about 11pm last night and tickets need to be produced, printed and delivered, not to mention all the various meetings and consultations which need to happen regarding safety, capacity, segregation etc.

Of course you're probably right Matt.

I suppose it was just a nice idea for convenience and to boost Saturday's gate.

I would certainly hope that minds don't 'wander' because in theory, apart from maybe a few, players should be playing for their place, otherwise what's the point of having a squad.

On WSM, although their league position say's otherwise,  I personally thought they played some of the best football I've seen at AP this season.

There is certainly no room for complacency.

Fair and complementary interview from Paul Doswell, I'm sure some other managers would have been bleating about how they were robbed and why they should have won the game.

Have to disagree with him about Dobbo, there is no way he could play at a higher level, in fact he's lucky to even get a starting place here  ?

Yes, very good post match interview. I wonder if he showed the same class and respect to our managers off screen. He comes across very well on screen. Not sure about the blingy ring he was wearing, though ! ha ha ha !

After the interview, the next footage up [on You Tube] is from a Sutton supporter, that could be Paul Doswell's son, which is worth watching, too, as it's from the Sutton fans perspective. Well worth a view as it features the goals and most of penalties from the other night.

That’s exactly what I thought of WSM. Pretty on the eye, just no end product to them.

No complacency though, £5k at stake, and a chance of a rematch with Sutton in the next round lol

Yes he certainly did.

Treated us with a lot of respect and came across as a very nice genuine guy. He was very complimentary to us about our side which was nice to hear.

We have access to the footage which was filmed on behalf of the BBC, and FCVideo are putting together highlights for us. There is also a short post match interview with Unders which will be online hopefully this evening.

That's excellent.

For a minute I thought we were stuck with just 3 minutes and only a couple of the penalties.
