We were poor yesterday but 10 of the 11 were the same players who started last week in our excellent FA cup win.

So there was not actually any ‘rotation’ yesterday but please feel free to use that as a reason for the defeat if you wish.

Sometimes teams don’t play well, simple as that, and usually when that happens you lose as we did yesterday.

I have no doubt we’ll react well on Tuesday.

yes they were the better team but you gotta ask yourself, does this rotation system work.our best striker sat on the bench for most of the game and our best playmaker( in my opinion) was substituted when we needed goals.

Kirky, you really must pay attention.

It was stated a while ago that due to there only being one game a week 'rotation' was no longer being applied and the team will in the main be picked on merit.

It’s a very tight and evenly matched league with only 4 points separating 5th & 16th..... if everybody plays well or we have a couple of moments of class then we’ll win (like last week), if a couple of players are out of sorts or there are a few moments of loss of concentration we will lose (like yesterday).

It’s what makes this level of football so exciting, and gives us all the hope of winning our next two league matches and even winning at Sutton and making the next round of the FA Cup.

Kirk - the reasons we lost the game were 2, and neither of them were anything to do with rotation.

1. Defensively on all 3 goals we had opportunities to clear the ball and didn't and a good looking At Albans attack took the chances presented to them

2. We didn't take the chances when they came to us.

This league is a challenging one in every game and we just need to keep plugging away and put in more good performances than average or bad ones. I'm sure the side will be ready to go again on Tuesday and hopefully we can return with 3 more points.
