There was a tweet and Facebook post yesterday saying that arrangements would be announced tomorrow.

Thank you, i’m not on either of those so didn’t know.

Video up on their website now - good to see an opposing manager give such a fair account of the game. Thinks we should have won about 3-1

I think he say's something like we could have won 2-0 3-1 3-0.

Yes, it's good to hear the opposition manager give us the praise we deserve but he's also quoted in a national newspaper saying we battered them, which in all honesty wasn't the case.

Doswell is a shewed manager and I wouldn't be surprised if he has an agenda for going over the top with his post match comments.

Of course but still an honest appraisal of the game and better than many opposition reviews.

GREETINGS from MARSKE

It would just be that I am on holiday in Whitby and will be going to Mount Pleasant for the FA Trophy 2nd. Qualifying Round tie Marske United v Tamworth.

I will hope to watch the match highlights on Sutton United TV without knowing the final score as they show it before the highligts but not during them. I could dream though of Lee Togwell having his shooting boots on and producing another sensational 1st. Round result. As for the rebound on 66 minutes that he carefully tapped into Sam Beasant's hands against Concord Rangers, chances don't come much easier and Lee had many others during the match.

Bakes and Unders will have done their homework and noted the frequency recently with which Sutton United have scored the winning goal in an FA Cup tie in time added on.

When interviewed on Sutton United TV after the 1st. Round draw was made, manager Paul Doswell described the tie as an interesting game and expects it to be very competitive and a good game.

Not a bad weekend of football for me.

Marske United  2  Tamworth  0 on a beautiful autumn afternoon at Mount Pleasant and a 5* match as well.

Monday afternoon I got to The Coliseum Business Centre in Whitby without knowing the score from Gander Green Lane and watched the highlights on Sutton United TV. Not the 3-3 draw I forecast but 0-0 brings the old foe back to the new ground.

Bakes and Unders - Congratulations on a very solid Rebels performance and there didn't look much, if anything, between the two sides. See you all on 17th. and 20th. - no doubt Nicky Bailey will be employed in the replay.

They have indicated to us that they expect to bring between 400-500 for the replay, so will generate a great atmosphere under the lights.

Was the information from the club?

I would say half that figure.

Who do you want in round two, if you win the replay?

Would be great to see 1,500 for the replay but not sure how well Sutton United travel. You’d hope there would be a minimum of 1,000 Rebels and try to re-create the super atmosphere on Saturday.

I’m not great at attendance predictions, but I do recall a similar match 6 years ago.... an FA Cup 1st round midweek replay against Mansfield which had an attendance of around 1,600.

Since then we have had two promotions, moved to a new ground, have increased our average home attendances by more than 500, and seem to have people at the club who promote our matches far more.

In addition, I don’t think there are any other Premier or Football League matches on 20th November.... so I would be surprised if this match didn’t attract a capacity crowd of 1,950.

Capacity is now 3,100.
