Only yellow cards are competition specific. Red card ban happens in your next competitive match 7 days later, regardless of competition.

Bailey served his suspension against Hartlepool in the league.

Ben Harris picked up his second yellow today and will be suspended for the replay.

I thought you had posted that as a Slough Town club official in the know (since you also mentioned recently you had knowledge of definitive stats being posted in next weeks programme), but appears from what Neil Baker has subsequently posted that the second part on Ben Harris is incorrect.

Is the first part on Bailey definitely correct?

It would seem to make sense if it related to a ‘straight red’ and three match ban (which I think happened to Vardy earlier this season), but less so if two yellows culminate in a red and a dismissal with a one match ban.

Incredibly proud of the performance by the team and the fans on the day. Gave it absolutely everything and may well have won it

Outrageous that that isn't given as a penalty denying a near certain goal. Nobody would have been more shocked than the defender when it wasn't given. I still can't work out what explanation the ref could possibly give for not giving it. Thankfully we have a team mentally strong enough to not have let that get to us and we battled on to get a replay which was least we deserved. No guarantee we would score the pen but decisions like that could have/still cost us thousands of pounds

Replay is by no means going to be easy but we have to be even more confident now that we can beat Sutton. Fingers crossed we can have huge crowds at the next 2 home games

Still seething after THAT major desicion went against us.Thankfully we soon forgot about it and finished the game quite strongly. Many a team may have folded after that.I'd like to know what the refs view of it was when spoken to by Bakes & Unders. Was that our chance of an upset gone?Hopefully we can complete the job next week in what will be another game to raise the profile of our  great club.

Just seen the report in the NLP,& I'm not sure where their stats came from as they are completely inaccurate, although the report was quite fair in my opinion.

We would have all taken a draw before the game and in the end should have been given the opportunity to win it. We’re all completely miffed how neither the red or lino couldn’t see that was a foul, could they both in all honesty not have a clear enough view (which no doubt would be their excuse). Sutton were guilty of missed opportunities and as their manager said they went play that poorly again (although obviously he can’t gya that!). I don’t see the replay be any easier but I can also see why we shouldn’t hold any fear and hopefully with a 1,500 crowd we could nick it.

Very good performance from the team against a very big Sutton outfit.

Chances for both sides but in the end we were let down by the incompetency of one individual when the most important decision of the game had to be made.

Very fair summing up of the game from Sutton manager Paul Doswell.

He say's they are lucky to still be in the cup and promises that they can't and won't play as bad again.

Another great day watching singing and supporting the Rebels the atmosphere behind the goal was class.

Superb performance from the team heads could easily of dropped after the penalty decision.

Thought there tall player with the head bandage was very dangerous and seemed to be everywhere and at the centre of all there play so once again well done to the defence at keeping him at bay.

We have a local derby next Saturday while Sutton have to travel distance wise to Gateshead which could be in our favour was wil be the support.

Just like the Kings Lynn game you had two people in the tea bar serving 400 away fans and what a joke for the Coach drivers having to go round in circles finding some where to park.

Can.t wait for the second round draw and then the replay.

Unless I am missing something Ben did not get booked against Eastbourne and is therefore available for the replay.

bookings were wiped after third qualifying round.

I was looking every where I could to find out if/when the cut off date was for yellows but couldn’t find it anywhere, though it had been very vaguely mentioned when the FA initially announced the new rule idea.

If anyone knows the Tony non league forum you know that is a great place to go to get info from those who know everything about non league and the FA competitions and none of them knew.

I hope you are right Neil. Otherwise it did seem very unfair.

I've just listened to the Sutton managers post match interview He's obviously relieved to still be in the draw and says we didn't get a clear penalty  doesn't sound like a confident man

Video up on their website now - good to see an opposing manager give such a fair account of the game. Thinks we should have won about 3-1

Morning all

I know the dust hasn't settled after yet another excellent performance on Saturday but when will arrangements for the replay be announced? e.g. pay on the gate or can tickets be purchased in advance?
