I’ve seen images of the ‘end’ we’ll be in and although compact if we’re given the whole end then I’d say it could accommodate around 1,000.

That’s the home end. The away terrace holds a little over 750 (based on the number of tickets Leeds and Arsenal got) plus they’ll be a decent seating allocation

I would buy your tickets before you travel. If you get held up on the M25 you don’t want to then be delayed at the ground.

Take the 7 or 9 to Heathrow terminals 1-3, X26 to Cheam Broadway and 151 or 213 to Gander Green Lane before a mile walk to the other end it to avoid the M25.

GREETINGS from MARSKE

It would just be that I am on holiday in Whitby and will be going to Mount Pleasant for the FA Trophy 2nd. Qualifying Round tie Marske United v Tamworth.

I will hope to watch the match highlights on Sutton United TV without knowing the final score as they show it before the highligts but not during them. I could dream though of Lee Togwell having his shooting boots on and producing another sensational 1st. Round result. As for the rebound on 66 minutes that he carefully tapped into Sam Beasant's hands against Concord Rangers, chances don't come much easier and Lee had many others during the match.

Bakes and Unders will have done their homework and noted the frequency recently with which Sutton United have scored the winning goal in an FA Cup tie in time added on.

When interviewed on Sutton United TV after the 1st. Round draw was made, manager Paul Doswell described the tie as an interesting game and expects it to be very competitive and a good game.

Sutton manager Paul Doswell say's in his latest interview that they have had us watched twice and knows how we play and have to be at their best to get a result.

The last time Rebels played Sutton United in the FA Cup was on 2nd. November 1974 with a 1-0 win in the 4th. Qualifying Round. Being the first match at Wexham Park, I forked out 5p for a programme on such a special occasion. See the attached centre pages!

Dad's probably got that in a pile somewhere. Good team that - my favourite player from that time was Geoff Anthony (never stopped running and got fouled so much) and he scored the winner. Shame we had to play the 1st round at Walton against Brentford - can't remember why and weren't able to challenge them really.
