PALS Volunteers

As you all know Dave Carpenter was a huge supporter of the PALS team and was the main volunteer beyond the coaches.

 

His  passing has left a huge void and he is greatly missed, both personally but also in the tasks that he undertook.

 

We desperately need someone (or two) to step into these roles.  None of which are too time consuming.

We need someone who could take on organising of the transport, arranging the bus and ensuring that all players know where and when they need to be to get picked up; buying the water/jaffa cakes and getting them to the relevant people etc.  If this person wanted to attend games/training they would be welcome as it is easier to deal with people when you know them; travelling on the bus, so there is an additional adult besides the driver - Drivers also needed.

 

Please have a think about whether you have the time and desire to work with adults with learning disabilities, enhancing their life experience, increasing their social interaction, health and confidence and playing football as well, please let me know, also if you can think of anyone outside of the club, outside of football even who may be interested.
