sdelaney
It's amazing when you go to a non league game now, you get talking to supporters standing next to you, or in the clubhouse and find out they support neither team and do not have an allegiance to a certain club but have travelled miles just to see a game and get there fix. I.m more of a local hopper watching Marine or Bassett when the Rebels are not playing, But this season I have spoken to a couple early in the season at Arbour Park who said they had travelled from London just to see a new ground and team as there local team were not playing. At Bristol Manor Farm I got talking to a supporter of northern non league football in the car park before the game he had travelled all that way to see the game he said the last time he saw Slough was when we played at the Dolphin after fifteen minutes a mate of his arrived from Wales and then another mate arrived from another part of the country they all picked out the game to meet up to get there midweek fix that's a bit hardcore travelling to see a game or were they scouting???.
