LeightonLad
The Leighton Town manager Danny Nicholls resigned after the latest loss above. Not surprising given the start to the season and standard of football played. It seems virtually all of the successful FA Vase squad has left from last season. I expected Nicholls to complement the squad with his own contacts from his varied career but this hasn’t transpired. His experience suggested a good team would be built. Interested to know who may know be in the frame for the job?

Interested to know who may know be in the frame for the job? Really thought Leighton would be dominant this season under him. Looked an appointment with intent. Is he going to Aylesbury? Timing is coincidental, especially since we all heard they were on the phone to a number of managers Saturday evening looking to make a replacement. Localwatcher
Some good local managers about for Leighton to pick from. A return for Reynolds? Resigned from Aylesbury with Bonham taking over there. Done well last year with Leighton. Robson, worked wonders at Totternhoe. Just look at their results since he left. Jordan King done well at Aston Clinton, not to sure if he has experience at a higher level however. A club the size of Leighton should be able to poach managers also.....Tring Athletic are flying. Sorry, Winslow Boy, but Alleyne is again doing well.
Munchkin
Great appointment in Joe Sweeney at Leighton Town. also see Darren Croft been appointed at Totternhoe
LeightonLad
Seems a great appointment considering he recently won the league with London Colney. Did he end up leaving after Colney following their refusal to take promotion? And has he managed since?

Tring and Winslow both with budgets so a little easier to attract players and get the players to perform. hardworking managers are worth their weight in gold! It’s not much but it pays a bit of petrol or few beers after. I know a couple lads been offered 40-50 to go elsewhere but are enjoying their football where they are. Amended due to inaccurate info. My bad.
