VelI Hakki could be on his way back to Slough Town after he was released from Boreham Wood. Rebels’ acting manager Eddie Denton confirmed that he has held talks with the midfielder

Hakki has signed for Tonbridge Angels and played for them on Saturday.

If he wanted a 'break' then playing on Saturday was clearly not the way to go about it - it's a clear indication he probably has no intention of signing for Slough.

But he played for the reserves at Harrow last night. It would appear his future has yet to be decided

I was critical when was reported as saying he wanted a break, then played for Tonbridge, but he kept his word about being getting back to Eddie, so maybe the papers got it wrong. I'd like to see him back, so Veli, if you are reading this---come on back.

we all know what a good player he is and that he'd be a strong addition to the squad. I'm with you Ted, I'd like to see him back, I think we all would.
