Kirky Kirky Kirky, when will you ever learn?

Do you really think Eastbourne is going to be that easy?

If so, then you are deluded.

not deluded just know my football.anything other than a win would be a major surprise.

As someone who was at the game last night, I was disappointed in the BMF performance compared to Saturday; the so called regulars showed little of the passion that the “makeshift” team did.

Also when the Slough boys were not singing it was like a library – was this their cup final? – could have fooled me.  Only the lone voice and the drum could be heard – poor.

The odour from the lower end needed to be experienced.

As for slough it was a professional performance as described by Jon in his interview, my MOTM would be Manny125 who put his dancing shoes on and dazzled them.

As for Manny’s booking, although I did not see the incident, he was absolutely livid, and knowing how cool and collected he usually is, I would have to think that the keeper had definitely gone for him.

0-4 showed that we were not messing around and near the end it could have been a few more.

Credit to BMF for how they held us on Saturday, but disappointed with them last night – maybe they ran out of puff and adrenaline after Saturday.

Onwards to Eastbourne.

I think it was more that your performance was so much of an improvement yesterday compared to Saturday, we could have had a couple of goals last night but it wasn’t to be.

With regards to the atmosphere, it was as I expected. Unfortunately, bar Tony and and the rest of us who try and get some singing going it has never been great, when you add 350 ‘new’ fans and the fact we were trailing for most of the game it was always going to be reasonably quiet. In the second half especially you were very loud though so fair play for that

Took the words right out of my mouth Matt.

As you say maybe we were just that much better than on Saturday.

No you were wrong, you said we would need luck... we didn’t... bit like most times you have commented recently has been with a negative spin, and each time been proved wrong by the players and ourselves.... the most spectacular one being we will be lucky to win another game this season.... which culminated I think in one defeat, a record number of points goals and promotion... but no congratulations to the team (don’t even care that you dislike myself and Jon as we don’t need that smoke blown up our backsides) ?

I guess some people are just “half empty”
