Tough game against a good resilient Sholing side who are way better than their current standard of football.

Good performances all round but I thought Warren Harris was excellent along with Josh Jackman.

As said a very hard match against a very good well organised and tough team.

Some of there players should be playing at a higher level the centre half in both games was superb and a fine save by the goalie keeping out Dobbo.s penalty.

 

In the 2nd half I was standing next to a Bognor supporter he said do not think much of your No 7, I said you wait he will show you a bit of skill and brilliance soon so well done Dobbo with the corner for Toggs goal and scoring yourself that you shut up that supporter.

The whole Sholing team and management deserve great credit for there efforts.

Heavy Trucker you have not been on yet to praise the team for winning after your over the top comment after  Saturday.s game.

You see Premier league teams lose to lower league teams when they drop there levels of play that.s what Cup Matches are all about especially the FA Cup and why Supporters enjoy it so much.

So it is annoying for your team but give the opposition the respect they deserve.

And then respect  for you team for getting through their adversity.

I like the Twitter message from Ade Rebels Radio he is becoming a star in his own right he had over 880 listening to his dulcet tones for the replay superb.

This match reminded me of when we played Minehead in 1977 in the FA Trophy it took three tough games to beat them the 2nd replay being played at Twerton Park.

We missed the first ten minutes of the 1st replay at Minehead turning up late on the coach nothing changed there then. but we got our monies worth as neither side could find a winner in extra time.

 

So good seeing Terry Reardon  being a familiar face watching the Slough games now he will remember playing at centre back in these games.

And It took our No 7 Dobbo of the time.  Dave Russell to break the deadlock with a twenty five yard screamer.

Remember It being a shocking journey home the M4 was covered all the way in a blanket of very dense fog.
