I don't know when your interview takes place today but you should pop down to the newsagent and buy the 'Daily Mail'. The banner headline on the front directs the reader to the centre pages:

 

"REVEALED: How the right make-up can DOUBLE your salary!".

 

Not that there is anything wrong with yours, of course, but it might be worth a quick glance. The newspaper that is.

My interview is at 11.30, but we don't get the Daily mail in Markyate as we can only read the sun, as it has more pictures in than words, so if i have a chance to, i'll have a look in a newsagents in St.Albans.

 

As long as you're wearing subtal but noticable make-up, they say that is good, but i'm being interviewed by 2 women, so i don't think it would count as much!!!

that was a year later i think. early 94 for relax.. knocked pipes of peace off of no.1 the same week i passed my driving test... in a british leyland metro ..

Absolutely right, CANV. I remember that!

 

Then it dropped right down into the 20s and 30s before going back up to No.2 whilst Two Tribes was number one in the Summer.

 

It was Summer '84 that the Frankie Says, and also the Wham Choose Life t-shirts were spotted everywhere!

 

Obviously I wanted one, but as a 9-year old, my mum thought them somewhat unsuitable.

some one bought the best of wham or wham final or something on my last ski trip .. natch said person was abused.. natch we played it all the time and everyone knew all the words especially to the much forgotton single 'if you were there'
