With lack of game time and Matty Stevens joining on loan I'm not a bit surprised Perry Coles has decided to leave to get more regular football.

 

I think it's a great shame because he never sulked and let his head drop always giving 100% effort chasing lost causes and was a natural goal scorer.

Unfortunately one striker was bound to leave as you can’t have 5 strikers (ok you can but try keeping them all happy!). I thought it’ll be one of Coles or Harris (you couldn’t release Manny after all he got us here!). And no 3Spirit this doesn’t mean we can now go and sign that 8ft striker! ?

That's disappointing...... 13 goals in 27 appearances for us, and quite a few appearances from the bench.

 

With only two starts (and a goal in one of those) in eight matches this season, it's not surprising he has decided to move on for regular football........ in my opinion he's a very good player and will score a lot of goals at step 3 if he is at a club challenging for the title.

I'll be surprised if that's the case He's committed to playing for their U23s midweek could be a game too much Essential he stays fit imo

Just to confirm there is no such agreement with Peterborough regarding Matty.

Peterborough's tweet on 31st August does say he will be playing for their U23s midweek unless we need him for a midweek game

Shame to see Perry move on. Always seemed  good honest player who always gave 100%. There should be quite a few clubs chasing him.
