Raingod
So what was our performance like?
djwilf
Steady really. First half had most possession and Sutton set up Hatton for his first goal. We did create other chances but nothing really clear and 1 nil was probably right at half time. 2nd half was very stop start. Dorking clearly came out to disrupt play and again we had good possession but couldn't work good openings. Few tackles flew in and whilst I don't like to criticise the officials weren't up to it today. The stoppage with us crossing into the box was amazing. Dorking came into the game more and our substitutes were too late. Bilal did well to supply some crosses when he came on and Ryan volleyed just wide. Very scrappy 2nd half and Andy was clearly upset with their manager and CB at end of the game. A point for Town and Dorking probably much happier...even with about 5 fans. 72wemblyfinal
Very good djwilf spot on assesment. One big difference from our previous games was the distribution from our keeper, nearly everything was aerial. We play imo much better when the ball is released on the ground to our players building from the back. lovely stuff
Played well.Good commitment and good attacking football on display from Town. But we seemed to fade in the last third of the game and allowed a team that had put us under no pressure all game to break and equalize against us.The same as in the Hornchurch game. PocketRocket
Still early days, our back 4 are new to each other as are midfield and forwards, we are still gelling and still have some key players missing. All that and we are unbeaten and in the right end of the table for now, aim is for Play Offs anything better would be fantastic
