AnfieldTowner
Certainly wasn't expecting that yesterday but fair play to Bedford they played very well and we were second best all afternoon. Need to see a reaction from the players at Lewes - think we're about to learn a lot about this group of players and the management team. Really hope they rise to the challenge. Start to the season has been impressive but yesterday was just embarrassing and a disaster from a financial point of view. The money's now gone so lets get back to playing football. Bedford showed it can be done!
littlehampton
Never mind Townies , There is always next season, Now which one of you is going to say that it free's up the season for a crack at the league title. Come on somebody usually does Well done to Bedford , Seem's like it was well deserved AW instead of making cheap comments about another club, suggest you focus on your chances in the replay at Leiston on Tuesday evening, where they are unbeaten at home, and will look after you on and off the field !! 72wemblyfinal
@djwilf Sound points made,I much prefer Joe playing out on the floor, but yesterday when he tried this he did get the ball back most of the time, he was then under pressure to rush a kick,so I can understand why he chose to kick long most of the game. lovely stuff
Had high hopes for this current squad after a positive start to the season. But to get so outplayed at home by a team from a lower league is worry ing.
