Good luck to the lads this afternoon Unlike ourselves DH lost a number of the key players from their promotion winning side and are bedding in new players They've lost their ground possibly permanently and are playing at Tooting which has resulted in gates 30/35% lower They've made an indifferent start and I'm hoping our home advantage will prevail We can't go on wasting chances as we have been and some team soon will meet us on top shooting form.

Oh dear :(

Another poor performance (although better than Saturday). 2 in a row now. It is getting a bit old already this early in the season to be looking at the number of wasted chances we are creating. Unfortunately in this league, we can't waste 6-10 chances a game and expect to come out with something.

Not sure what has happened in the last week, but both Saturday and today our central midfield was terrible. No idea who was picking MOM today, but how on earth they came up with Simon Dunn is beyond me.

It was all too easy for Dulwich to pass through the midfield and onto their attackers. The #2 for virtually the whole 2nd half had about 30 yards of space to play in down our left. If the Dulwich players had noticed he would have had 7 or 8 more opportunities to cross the ball.

Both their goals were nice and easy for them to score as well.

I'm still looking at the first 10 games as the measuring stick but 6 goals in 7 matches isn't looking that positive thus far.

We don't become a bad side over night, but in this league, average or below average performances get punished and you come away with nothing, and we have got exactly what we deserved this weekend from our performances. Hopefully we can turn it around for next weekend and beyond, otherwise this is going to be a very long season.

TBH I thought that in the first half Dulwich were the poorest side we've faced yet.

They were there for the taking but we weren't ruthless enough.

Good play to set up Louis' goal and he took it well.

The disallowed goal looked doubtful, felt sorry for Perry because he worked his socks off today.

HATE LOSING AT HOME!!

I thought the game didn't bode well from the start when Slough lost the toss,so they would have to attack the Lynch Hill Academy end second half and so it proved.

Not a lot between the sides in my opinion but we seemed to be panicky before we needed to because of the defeat to East Thurrock. So first half we resorted to putting the long ball crosses in, rather than passing floor football.

First half both sides failed to influence game much, and I was glad to hear the half time whistle.

Second half was a big improvement for both teams and as a spectacle for the watching fans.

We got off to a flying start with a wonder goal from Louis Soares,so why we felt the need to take him off, I don't know? It was evident our centre midfield was struggling,so it seemed obvious that it would be a like for like replacement, when Scott Davies was called for but we chose to take off Louis. Strange one for me,that.

What was worrying was some of our players started taking out their frustrations on each other, by arguing with each other. Not a great way to respond to adversity.

I didn't think Slough were that bad, and a draw would probably have been a fair result but to me there was no way we did enough to win the game.

So the Bank Holiday games have been a disaster in terms of points because East Thurrock and Dulwich are nowhere near the best of this division, and really we should be getting some points reward from them.

So this weekend is a bit of a reality check for the coming tests ahead for our team.

Still a bit shell shocked as to how we managed to turn a winning position into a defeat.

I think we shaded the first half and should have taken one of the two good chances that came our way, a header from Perry Coles and an even worse miss from Dobbo who failed to hit the target from somewhere near the penalty spot.

We started the second half very positively and scored almost immediately from the kick off with a very good flowing move finished with aplomb by Louis Soares.

From that moment on it was a bit like Dulwich had managed to smuggle an extra couple of players onto the park. Our positional play and marking in midfield or in the full back position  suddenly went to pot. We seemed to stand off the Dulwich players allowing them time and space for a cross or a shot at goal.

Their first goal came from out wide on our left where Wellsy was too far away from his man allowing the player to put in a very good cross to the far post where IMO Sean Fraser should have done better.

Dulwich's second goal again came from giving the oppo players too much time and space to have pops at goal and it seemed inevitable that one of them would find the net.

Far too early to panic but a big improvement needed with IMO our biggest test to date coming at Chelmsford next Saturday.

Really tough to take that result . Thought we were huge in first half and they looked very uneasy against our high press . Once agian in a game thought we should have been ahead at half time but thought the early goal second half should have sorted that . Instead we retreated , looked tired and unable to keep the press going and started losing every second ball. Passing went out the window and we lacked drive going forward. Our goal made us more timid , their equaliser really fired them up.

Very disappointing with another good crowd in.

Have to disagree that Dulwich were the poorest side we've played so far.

I don't think they were a good side but they were OK and certainly better than Gloucester who I think are the worst side we've played with East Thurrock a close second.

Dulwich have got a few injuries and yes agree that today they were for the taking.

Sorry but Simon works his heart out and I thought he had a good game.

Think we need to give the guys a break we knew this league was going to be tough and can't keep saying the other teams were poor.

Remember the play off final, same guys and we need to get behind them, early days yet x

Agree Sue, Dunny will always give you 100% and I thought he did OK today.

Also agree that we need to keep backing the players who I'm sure will come good.

Support has been tremendous home and away and is very much appreciated.

Our first home defeat since Feb 10th so hoping the new fans will give us some leeway and come back!

A disappointing weekend after a solid first 5 games at this level but I’m sure you will get right behind this group of players (and managers!) as they delivered an incredible season last season and have proved time and again that they can’t be written off.

Looking forward to Saturday already!
