Suspensions

Just been informed that next season, suspensions will be delt with in games rather than days.But only league matches/cups, county cups & F.A. competitions will count, no other outside cup competitions can be used to fulfill the suspension

Happy days. At last we can look forward to serving a 5 match ban rather than 5 weeks. Justcice at last. Can't wait to test the new system!

Just falling inline with the rest of the country, it's called moving with the times, a 56 day ban, can now be over and done with in 2/3 weeks, so it don't really matter who you play for,your players are back a lot sooner which in my book is only good for the club.

When you can have one player missing say 1 game and another say 2 (one week ban) (in simple terms) for the same offence - how can this be fair?

In this PC society in which we live, I'm surprised no one has taken it to the European Court of Human rights for restraint of trade ... or have they???

I think your missing the point, next season it will be games only, so you won't be in the situation of 7 Days or 1 Match. My initial post was pointing out that instead of serving 56 days:ie 2 months, the punishment could well be 5 games, which could expire after 2 or 3 weeks instead of the 2 months of times gone by.

admittely i do realise that it could be less but also none seems to realise it could be more
