Will change the East Thurrock score to 0-3 to Woking, as just read that Thurrock's top goal scorer,Sam Higgins, is away on his wedding abroad  and his manager John Coventry is there with him ! ha ha !
Great timing for the start of the season. Pity we weren't playing them.

Why arrange your wedding during the football season? I can’t believe he’s putting his wife to be before footy!!! Doesn’t give the best impression that the manager will be missing too, ok he may well have known the boy for years but it still doesn’t set the right impression does it?

Do not know enough about the other teams to predict scores, anyone care to guess our starting 11?

The only result I'm interested in tomorrow is our own and if the season was six or so weeks old I'd be in two minds but any team the Rebels will put out tomorrow will be a proven success substantially last seasons promotion winning team plus a few additions that have had good reviews in PSFs On the other hand about a dozen of the squad named by H&R will never have played a competitive league game for them before They've recruited some players with experience and good reputations but have they had time to blend and interact as a team? Their PSFs suggest not especially with the very new arrivals so I'm going with a 3 point win for the Rebels to get us off to a flying start at our new level!

There's another thread started for this.

Eight out of eleven correct results is a good start 3spirit.

But for us who choose the Slough Observer for our forecasts, you got the all important Slough Town v Hampton & Richmond Borough result wrong although I appreciate that that was the fault of a post getting in the way of the ball rather than of your self.

May I offer you a piece of advice for future forecasts. You didn't forecast enough goals as although Billericay Town, Hemel Hempstead Town and Lenchless Wealdstone each scored four, you forecast that no team would score more than three. And you overstated the all important Slough Town goal tally of two when they only scored one although I appreciate that that was the fault of a post getting in the way of the ball rather than of your self.

I am really looking forward to going to Gloucester City 1 Slough Town 2 tomorrow!
