Reading Rebel
Is there any chance we can get the admittance charges for tomorrows game? The games advertised on the web site but no indication of what they are charging.
GlenSTFC
Does it really matter, it’ll be between £6-£8 I’d guess if you’re going you’re going surely?
Reading Rebel
I'd say it does matter to some supporters who will base their attendance purely on what the home club are charging. As you say, £6-£8 for a full paying adult is probably acceptable but IMO it's gets into the realms of unacceptable when clubs start charging £10 plus. Staines charged £10 and £5 for concessions the other day but bearing in mind it was against QPR it was probably predictable.
GlenSTFC
Exactly QPR would be higher so a normal friendly is bound to be in the parameters i said. I didn’t like the fact Woking were charging £18 but I still would have gone.
GlenSTFC
For those who are concerned (or tight) it’s £8 adults and £4 concessions.
PaxtonLee
Some great goal mouth action today, 1st half in particular, their keeper pulling offf a string of saves before going off injured. How did Perry Coles miss that open goal though? Another good run out.
GlenSTFC
Decent and unexpected score line as previously Stsines have been a strong step 3 side but know they’ve got a new manager in so maybe they need more time this season. Depending on how strong a team Boreham Wood bring on Tuesday that will be probably our strongest test of pre-season.

As far as I know It's Boreham Woods 1st team squad so as you say it's our sternest test of pre season where I think we will find out a lot more about how we are shaping up ahead of the season. Reading Rebel
Really enjoyable game, dominated from start to finish and played some really good stuff with lots of chances being created.
Reading Rebel
Looking at the Staines Twitter feed I really can't believe they've written that the 5-0 scoreline was 'slightly flattering'. At times we all have blinkers on in favour of our own team but there is no way on earth that scoreline was flattering.

GlenSTFC
Surprised they didn’t come out with ‘it wasn’t our full strength team’ or we had ‘plenty missing today’. Maybe they confused their words and meant the scoreline was flattering to us? Yes I hope it’s Boreham Wood’s first team as that will be a proper test. Irishadrian
Staines having a very poor pre season conceded another 5 goals last night against Wealdstone including one from Matt Lench that's 17 in last 3 PSFs
Reading Rebel
I think Staines will have a tough season and survival could be the best they can hope for. Having said that last night they won the second half against Wealdstone 2-1.
