Reading Rebel
Concord Rangers are doing write ups featuring every opponent for this coming season. This week it's the turn of Slough Town. One bit in the article that seemed strange was that our game with them will be segregated. Just wondered if segregation was compulsory in the National South or is it left to the individual clubs to decide?
GlenSTFC
I read that and it’s obviously a mistake or the author is having a laugh especially if he think their 10 fans would need segregating! Only the obvious league games will/may be segregated like Woking, Torquay, Wealdstone possibly.
Reading Rebel
Must to be an error by the author. Segregation has to be done on a game by game basis.
Mark44
It says we have never played but I remember an FA Cup game at SYCOB where Craig o Connor scored or am I mistaken...think we won 3-

Curtis
http://www.sloughtownfc.net/reports/4601/ The Club database says it was 2009 and 2-0...... you are right about one of the goal scorers and there's even a video!
C'est la vie
Also remember in that game when Craig O'Conner had one of his funny turns and kicked the ball full pelt at the Concord Rangers bench. The then Concord boss Danny Cowley went berserk.

Reading Rebel
Strange video. Looks like it was filmed in the old Cinemascope.

One bit in the article that seemed strange was that our game with them will be segregated. Just wondered if segregation was compulsory in the National South or is it left to the individual clubs to decide? It’s certainly not compulsory, I doubt there were many clubs which required it on a regular basis last season. We would consider it on a case by case basis and consult with our Safety Officer and other parties if necessary (SBC, TVP).
