Just seen some images via Stadium Solutions on Twitter. The actual screen(s) haven’t been fitted yet but it’ll be an impressive addition and I’m guessing it’s been sorted by the council not the club? Obviously you’d presume the club will be allowed to market it for matchday advertising (council will probably get a cut!).

Let's hope it lasts more than five minutes,how many times have we gone to an away ground and find they are not working or out of use,but agree they could be very useful.

Unless someone has managed to tie up a load of advertising and sponsorship for it, then it’s a waste of money to show the score which if you’re attending either you’re not concentrating or you’re pissed.

 

 

Very possible but until it works we'll never know.

 

Also saves me keep getting my phone out to see the time or asking Heavy Trucker with his stop watch 'how long til half time' or 'how long to go before the final whistle'    :lol:

At half time in the Reading game (where it worked) it showed stats such as possession, shots on target, off target, corners etc

 

I have no idea who fed this info in but.......

We are working with the company involved in the software which generates the detail which is displayed on the screen. It tested well during the Dulwich game but we encountered issues during the Oxford game where I couldn't get the score to update following Dobbo's penalty. We're in regular contact with them and all outstanding issues should be resolved ahead of the game on the 22nd in the FA Cup. We have the option of adding in shots, corners, goals and scorers and its manually entered during the match so will be displaying this information when it is functioning. 

 

I think we're all very aware that we want to get it working as it looks good, as we saw in pre-season, and we are doing all we can to get this back up and running ASAP. As the end users of it, we are obviously reliant on a few other folks to iron out the issues which we are well on the way to finishing off.

Unlike Glennie I think it will look really good and display some useful stuff when up and running properly.

Hey I never said it wasn’t the most beautiful piece of display ever! Just have a think for a mo and whoever paid out for this which would have cost thousands would they really do it primarily to show some info and highlights? Nope. Maybe once it’s up and running fully without issues we may then see some advertising on there.
