At risk of playing devils advocate, have we not been asking for a pacy winger to be signed on this very forum?

My personal opinion is that CJ is a local lad who let down a lot of people by leaving the club as he did. But if he re-joined he could go some way to making it up to us with some strong performances down the flank.

I'd go along with BFR on this one. If Denton thinks he's the right player to sign (and being local is a plus), then lets put what happened behind us. As I recall, there were 2 sides to the story---CJ hadn't been contacted over the summer, so could hardly have felt secure here.

Whilst that is a fair point, I expect a certain degree of loyalty from the players. At non-league level it seems fairly easy to find a new club, just think how many players have just turned up at Slough and ended up joining the club, the great Gary McG springs to mind. Surely, CJ could have hung around and found a new club in August if necessary. If he does join, we should just let it be and only get on his back if he plays crap. <img src="/images/graemlins/grin.gif" alt="" />

He may well be training with the club, after all he is local but it would surprise me as I thought the club may have been a bit upset after looking after him when he was injured throughout the summer and then leaving for Wooooood.

Another player back may also be goalkeeper Chris Andrews - he was in the stand on Saturday. Was never his biggest fan, but a back-up goalkeeper foir Fozzy would come in hand.

Pacy yes, but I find it difficult to call him a winger. Will they all (Brownes followers) be allowed to crawl back. The good thing about the start of this season was that it was like a new beginning, we actually had rid of Browne and his cronies and had a group of players that wanted to play for the club. Players despite some failings, we could communicate with and appreciate.
