read a good letter in there about student fees..

the writer suggests that all people who went to uni n got a degree in the last 30 to 40 years should pay say 15 to 20 k thus sorting the problem.. this would of course include the prime minister and his missus..

I left uni about 2 years ago, and they havn't asked me to pay anything back yet.

 

Do you have to actually finish the course before you pay it back?

LOL!!! I know!!! But at least i made the point that i could get into uni!!!! Granted i was only there for a couple of weeks, but still i was offered a place!!!

I do owe a whole terms worth of loan though!!! Had to spend it as my mum was in Oz looking after my sick Aunty, and my dad refused to go to work to support me and my brother and there was no other money to get food and stuff in, so yes, i do owe some, but no one has asked for it back yet!!!!!!!!!

You have to start earning about 10k or 15k a year to be eligible to start paying it back. I think!
