Dinamo Urchin
Success doesn't visit many football clubs all that often, so when it does it is only fair that fans absolutely revel in it like a pig in muck. I'd be interested in everyone's thoughts on the following: Goal of the season 1. 2 3. Match of the season Moment of the season Best Awayday Best Away supporters (no need for a narrative if you don't want, I'm just bored right now) Goal of the season 1. George - Brentwood away. Dipping 40 yard volley that you just knew was in before he'd even hit it. 2. George - Norwich home. Struggling to break down the side to be relegated, cue left foot larrup into the top corner. 3. Nathan - Waltham Abbey home. Cheeky free kick under the wall. Made me giggle. Match of the season Waltham Abbey home. For the glut of goals (including their worldie and one from TFJ), late come back drama and the, er, celebration from George on scoring the winner. Moment of the season Toss up between Collis going in goal for a half against Maldon and keeping a clean sheet and Nathan Cooper deciding that he was Beckenbaur, Pele and Maradonna rolled into one at Thamsmead in the Trophy with his 50 yard run/one two/diving header. Best Awayday Hereford in the Cup. Beer, long journey, beer, new ground, beer, match, beer, out sing 2,500, beer, kamikaze coach home, beer. What is not to like? Best Away supporters Enjoyed both Tilbury and Harringey for their unique songs. But Witham were very gracious in letting us take over their clubhouse following promotion. It was good to see Harry's friend Undateable's James Beardwell leading the singing, shame Harry was too busy barfing down himself to be there. I didn't do a 'worst' category as I didn't want to be divisive. Fair to say I will not be gutted if Heybridge & Canvey miss out in the play offs so we don't have to put up with the respective moaning and 'singing'. cup of tea
1. Brad Warner - can’t remember the game, early in the season. Won the ball and went through half the opposition by himself, a la Nathan Cooper and a clinical finish that won us the game 2. Got to get George in there somewhere! 3. Nathan free kick - that took some nerve Match of the season , Waltham Abbey was brilliant but for me Potters Bar away. We were getting pummelled at the end of that game and still took 3 points from it. Best away day. Hereford. No contest Moment of the season. For me personally, it was Jimmy Mac taking the p*ss out of me at the Witham game. He’s definitely getting better! Best away supporters . Hertford were the most vocal but for me it was Witham, very good reception. Didn’t go to heybridge away but the fans wernt that good at the bridge. PONY TAILED URCHIN
here is my list of answers. Goal of the season 1- George 40 yard goal at the Brentwood away game just pure class!!! 2- Connor Hogon winner against Heybridge - the more i watch the goal the more it looks like he really did have a go for goal with the keeper out of posistion. 3- Bradley Warner winner against Bowers in the sort of tight game that this season the lads refused to give in in such matches and ground out some hard points. Match of the season I got 2 Home game v Waltham Abbey for Goals Goals Goals it had it all right to the very last winning goal from George when the lads looked like they had lost 3 points. Witham away on the day when we could all celebrate the clubs confirmed promotion and there were goals galore a great atmosphere and memorable songs in the Witham clubhouse afterwards. Moment of the season seeing the players climb over the barriers and find Jimmy after the Witham result as it's his team we were watching and it was good to see every player in the ground remember his input to this winning year Best Away Day Hereford in the FA Cup great day out and the lads played so well showed how good they were and could even have been 1-0 up by half time. Memorable day good beer and banter till the death ride home!
