GlenSTFC
Regarding Kettering, no surprise but frustrating they thrashed Gosport 7-0 so not only leapfrogging us but adding massively to their goal difference which could well be a factor come the last match. But also with Hereford now confirmed champions are they really going to go all out for a win when they play Kettering on Saturday? Maybe it’s best Weymouth beat Kettering now instead of the draw? Reading Rebel
Just got to hope Hereford lay off the jungle juice until after Saturday's game.
GlenSTFC
Hopefully they have a big party/night our planned for after the game on Saturday IF they beat Kettering! But seriously you’d hope they’d want to turn it on for their fans considering it’ll be 4-5,000 there.
sittingbull
we will be going out for the win come Saturday. They are making a theatre production of the F.A. cup win against Newcastle, on Saturday they will be recording the Meadow End in full voice singing the songs/ chants from that game to play as the background sound for the production......ideal score would be 2-1 to match that historic day with Ronny Radford and Ricky George's goals against the Malcolm McDonald goal. Don't think that there is a seat left for home fans.....should be about 4-4,500 in attendance.
3spirit
Good interview on Southern League website with Peter Beadle. He comes across well and doesn't seem a big head. He makes a very valid point about the five teams who have each accrued 90 points and more, [Hereford 100 plus],such a fantastic achievement by all of them. Congrats Hereford winning the title. Takes a very, very good side to win a title outright. I was proved wrong, as I didn't think they would achieve it this season but hats off to them for doing it. Slough can take heart that they had the better of them in the two encounters with them this season. We're just not as consistent as them yet........ but we are getting there.
