obis
Absolutely delighted to cross the line, now for Tuesday and hopefully confirm the title. Well done to all connected to the club, well deserved. On another note does this mean we have any exemptions for the FA Cup and Trophy?
andydick
If you mean where do we join the competitions then we would normally join a round later - so instead of the preliminary rounds we will start in the first qualifying rounds. But, given the whole re-structuring at our current level and the level we are being promoted to then all this may change.
Wivenhoe Urchin
It's all very interesting for next season. Will be good to play a few teams we haven't played for a while and I'm sure there will be some great away days. I'm guessing the furthest clubs we travel to will be similar to average distance trips when we were in conference south, a team like Basingstoke Town moving from the Southern Premier as a possible example. It looks like the bostik prem is going to stretch further west from London and so we possibly lose some of the north teams.
andydick
On a separate forum someone does a projected list of divisions. For the Bostik Premier next season it should be pretty close to ... AFC HornchurchBishop's StortfordBognor Regis TownBowers & PitseaBrightlingsea RegentBurgess Hill Town / Tooting and MitchamCarshalton AthleticCorinthian-Casuals / Cray Wanderers / Greenwich Borough / Hythe UtdDorking WanderersEnfield TownFolkestone InvictaHarlow TownKingstonianLeatherheadLewesMargateMersthamPotters Bar Town / Canvey / Haringey / HeybridgeTonbridge AngelsWhitehawkWingate & FinchleyWorthing Burgess / Tooting - one will be relegated from the Prem so the other will stay. Cray / Greenwich etc in play-offs for Bostik South Assumes Dulwich will be promoted alongside Billercay from the Prem Bishop's Stortford may not transfer in - much depends on who finishes in the extra promotion places (points per game across the 6 divisions) plus the fallout from Thurrock. aka PeteBeatz
Possibly no cruses up and down the estuary next season, if Canvey or Bowers fail promotion, Concord survive relegation, No Thorrock, Ricky go up, and goodbye for now Avely and Grays. Harlow then will be our local derby. Sorry Eastsiders you’ll have to change your song. We Hate..............
Wivenhoe Urchin
I would take that league for next season, nice lot of coastal trips and back to a few grounds we haven't seen for a while.
