Frome is on?

Probably the best performance since Christmas. So many highlights for me:-

- Turner's amazing save

- Marauding full-backs (Jackman's new-found thirst for goal)

- Solid central defence with Smarty and Matt Day keeping their forwards very quiet

- The unfortunate spelling on the team sheet of our no. 6

- Dominant in central midfield once again (Togs and Lench immense)

- Wazza and Dobbo unplayable (pray for Ollie)

- Nis. Up. Front.

- Perry Coles, the patron saint of lost causes (and deadly finishes)

- Gilkesy playing (and scoring)

The rain was so heavy on the way down to Frome that I am sure I was not alone in thinking the game would be off, the pitch was green for a change, we had a good following and the football was great with Slough attacking down both wings, we played well and kept the pressure on them when they did occasionally get possession, all in all I am glad I was there for an excellent game from our team and loud support from the fans, welcome back Harrison Gilkes.

What was Nis like up front? There for a bit of presence and aerial ability or did he play a bit too?

Didn't use the long ball much so only won a few balls in the aor. Did work tirelessly chasing down and passed well.from my memory dropped a tad deeper in second half so more of a 10 off the striker ?
