Well done Slough Town. Congratulations on your first win over Chesham in 18 years. Always love a visit to your council house stadium. Can't wait till next seasons derby games. Always good games. Good luck in the playoffs, however there are 4 much better sides (despite your budget) x

Must have missed that post unless it was deleted! Yeah gotta love these (many) fans who sadly are so gullible they believe anything they hear regarding any teams’ budget. Their season is now over (unless they include the prestigious county cup!) whereas we have an exciting end to the season.

Interesting that Chesham fans make a point of coming onto a Slough Town message board to post, sour grapes much? Twitter just as bad, didn't realise they'd take defeat so badly. Only a game !!!

Great win today, so nice to get one over ' that lot up the road ' !

 

First half we struggled to do anything right [except for Dobbo's wonder goal] and so we were fortunate to get to the break at 1-1.

 

After what I imagine was a rollicking at the half time interval, the Slough players responded well and started to do their jobs well and turned the game around, in Slough's favour.

 

For me Matt Lench, Dobbo, Wazza and Sean Fraser were our stand out players today but well done all the team for not throwing in the towel, and battling their way through adversity to get the victory.

Well chuffed with the win.

With only one recognised striker up front we were always going to stuggle Manny and two 6ft plus defenders was always going to be hard work.but fair play to the players we ground out a result,Next few weeks are going to be a roller coaster and loving every minute of it.

I would like to say a massive thank you for the club for doing a minute's silence for my mum, and to all those that came to speak to me and honour that minute's silence.

Said to ginger and mike before the game even though Dobbo's special shots have just not happened recently he still has one or two up his sleeve before the season is out well that was the first one.

Didn't spot in initially but according to the video it seems that either us or the video editors think Andy Leese is still the Chesham manager

RR There was an announcement on Sunday that Leese had quit Enfield and was returning to Chesham and people believed it It was of course 1st April!

Dobbo has always got that in his locker so no real big surprise.

 

Personally I think he'd get a lot more if he played on the right coming onto his left foot but then we'd miss his crossing from the left.
