Yes we really were lucky to get this one played and to have a ref who wasn't a wimp! Kettering v Weymouth is already called off and early inspection already called for at most other grounds Been raining heavily in the West Country since 5 am and still is Frome Dorchester and Gosport will be off I'm sure

Well that ends the six away games, and we picked up 10 points, only failing to pick up points to higher teams Weymouth and Kings Lynn on long Tuesday night trips.

So now we are 10 points clear of 6th & 7th and the pressure is on them - even more so if they are having games called off.

With further rain forecast for Monday they may have another game called off, whilst we are home on the best pitch in the league and no risk of a postponement.

I thought it was an excellent performance from the lads.

Probably as one sided a game as you would see and but for their keeper and some poor misses IMO down to the conditions I'm sure it would have been a hat full of goals.

Have to say the Ref had a blinder!!

Hardly noticed him all game took the conditions into consideration and I don't think booked a single player.

Excellent news, just seen that the Chesham game is on.

Like us early on this season, the bar and the food out lets are run by the council so Dunstable can't take the blame for this.

And well done to the Slough Supporter that won the 50/50. collected £20 and donated the rest (£36) back to Dustable.

edit---- No booking on both side. In them conditions could of been a few red's let a loan yellows

Talking about the tea bar and waiting for your burger Sir Rebel1965 when you got it did you then have the ice cream on the menu.

How many clubs in the country sell ice cream.

Entertaining game with the conditions as they were surprised that there were not a lot of long shots from distance to make keeper dive more in the muddy goalmouth.

Two teams with top quality keepers.

Does it really do us a favour if we have to play them on a Thursday (which is the only remaining option, more than likely still on a 'mud heap' of a pitch) either 2 days before we play Kings Lynn at home or in the middle of 2 possibly crucial games against Royston?

I’d rather get Frome out of the way rather than a Thursday trip especially as we don’t generally do well at theirs. Just a shame we have so few home games as it might have been in our favour getting games played. But on the other hand knowing it’s pretty likely we’ll have to win twice away from home in the PO’s, this long sequence of away games will hopefully assist us.

How do you know it'll be muddy in 3 weeks time?

Also what about Thursday 19th after we play Hitchin on the Monday?

I don't know, but the standard of pitch there is generally not very good, so I'm guessing that even if it's dry, it won't be easy to play on.  As Glen says, at this stage it is best to get the games on and get this one out of the way.

We're down to play MK Dons on Wednesday 18th.
