The golf club is the other side of the road to the ground - golf was called off at 7:30 this morning - does BS have under pitch heating or a roof?

Don't worry, BS have taken everything into consideration and the game is on.

The only one who can say the game is on is the appointed match official Early inspections are usually by a local ref who gives an unofficial non binding opinion That's what we have at present.

HT 0-0 playing in the snow - just shows what difference ref's opinions are as this must be much worse conditions than the Biggleswade game that got called off just before kick off a few weeks ago.

Not surprised about Hereford Only Hereford and Kings Lynn have won more home games than Basingstoke They would be PO candidates if they weren't so dreadful away

Not the result we needed but in awful conditions we battled well and had it not been for the woodwork and their keeper we would have won that. Full credit to the players for working hard and coming back twice, certainly the least we deserved. Hoping Floody isn’t too bad. I’m guessing we may aswell postpone Tuesday’s match already!

Glen, how many time did BS hit the woodwork and Jack Turner make some blinding saves to keep us in the game?

I don’t recall them hitting the woodwork but I’d say we had more clear cut chances but overall yes a draw was fair. Just hope Tuesday’s match is on as it’s a game we need to play and win to stretch the gap between us and Royston. None of us want a scenario where those last 2 matches of the season are must wins.
