Completely forgot that I'd had a bet on last weekends games.

£10 on Arsenal, Birmingham, and Fulham - obvioiusly they all won, and I got £50. I realise this is a pittance to most of you, but it's cheered me up.

 

BTW, for all those who've moaned about workshy students perhaps they'd like to hear about my week. I'm currently doing 2 weeks (unpaid) work in the House of Commons libraries, and am coming into university in the evenings to do my University work. Not only that but I also have a stinking cold, and should be recuperating at home in bed <img src="/images/graemlins/frown.gif" alt="" />

 

I had 2 pages worth of messages to read today, and I would sum them up thus;

Laz pulled a 90 year-old,

Some Gravesend fan said something that was generally ignored,

Chubbhead had her hair cut in the style of a lesbian,

Nearly forgot, had drinks in the Lords bar this afternoon, you would have loved it Zeal!

Went for Rotherham at home to Northampton, Colchester at home to Accrington, and Hayes away to Arlesey, £10 at about 3-1.

 

I suspect that mentioning the bet on here will probably curse it, but you can be the judges of that tomorrow morning.

I used to be a member of M.C.C.C. and me and my Dad would often watch some cricket from the pavilion at Lords. The best bar is the one with the big bell on the balcony, although its name escapes me.

 

Not the same now that women are permitted, mind.

Too right Zeal!!!! When i'm eventually the second female prime minister (don't laugh, it could happen!!!!!) then i'll make sure that the country is run well don't you worry about that!!! Plus i'll give the House of Commons a comlpete make-over. I'll probably get someone from changing rooms in to do it!
