Jafooly
Throughout the season people on here had been confused as to why Hereford were outright league favourites since before the season began. Perhaps these finances from last season will show why. http://www.herefordtimes.com/sport/16073292.Hereford_FC_make_profit_for_second_year_running/ Last season their player and manager budget was £250,000 which would have only increased this year. No other team could compete with that.
GlenSTFC
Remember that figure is for the entire playing squad (25 players?) and staff (5+?) and over say 40 weeks that’s an average wage per week of around £215 BUT also take off bonuses, signing on fees etc then it’ll be well below £200 which of course is a lot more than probably every club at step 4 but maybe not as extortionate as some may have believed? Jafooly
That figure was for the league below ours. It will have increased significantly this year
GlenSTFC
I know and yes it’ll be interesting how much more they’ve spent this year I’d guess another £50,000 on top. Surprised the profit is so small on such a big turnover (for this level).

Are things like Bonuses count into this? as at the start of the season when the budget is worked out they wouldn't know the bonuses etc. So I would say that'll come out of the so called small profit. Sir Rebel1965
Those numbers mean nothing - you need to see the accountancy notes and the methods used to justify the numbers along with 3 or 4 years previous accounts to get a true understanding of where they are going. You also have to remember last year was their first full year after restructuring so there will still be some of the legacy from that impacting the numbers. As like Windsor they started with a clean slate I would think, so they have only 1 full year of existence none of the former club exist so no history. If they are claiming the history they can have the old debt with it ????????????
Sir Rebel1965
Agree Epicrebel, too easy for clubs to run up massive debts and then walk away and then start up with minimal penalties - they both should have had to start at the very bottom of the pyramid, but the league and the FA bottle these decisions.
